Emma's 1st Christmas was a huge success. We had a wonderful time preparing for Christmas. Johnny did an amazing job hanging lights on the outside of the house and I did an okay job decorating the inside. Emma loved the Christmas tree, after she stole and broke 4 ornaments we had to put a gate around it. Maybe next year will be less tempting...maybe...
Unfortunately, we did not go see my family in South Dakota this Christmas. They were all coming up the weekend after Christmas to celebrate Emma's 1st birthday, so we just stayed in Minneapolis for Christmas and had a wonderful time celebrating with John's family. John's sister was in town fromWashington DC, so she was able to spend a lot of time with Emma, which Emma loved. Emma loves to play peek-a-boo and Aunt Sarah is the best peek-a-booer ever!
Here are some pics from the week before Christmas and Christmas day. Enjoy!
