Sledding!

We are getting a ton of snow today so when we had about 8 inches of snow, we took Emma out for her first sledding experience.  Since it was still snowing pretty hard we did not stay out to long but Emma loved it.  She cried when I brought her inside.  Now we have 12 inches (and still snowing) so I think there will be enough snow around for many more sledding days.

Run Johnny, Run!

You can't tell it but Emma really did love this.

Getting ready for Christmas!

Since this is Emma's first Christmas we are having fun finding some cute Christmas outfits.  We have been decorating our house and Emma has been a great helper at taking the Christmas decorations off the tree...only 1 broken ornament so far.

The Christmas tree is so cool!

Oops, am I not supposed to touch it?

Like my plaid pants?

Emma 1st Thanksgiving 2012

For Emma's first Thanksgiving we were in South Dakota.  We had a great time seeing the whole family.  The weekend before Thanksgiving, Emma took her first plane trip.  We flew to Arizona for John's uncle's funneral.  It was very nice to see the extended family of John's mom.  Emma enjoyed being around so many great people and getting to be with Aunt Sarah for a week.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Cousin Dawson loves playing with Emma.

Emma's playdate

Emma had her first playdate at the new house.  My co-workers Laura and Bryn came over and brought their adorable babies, William and Lucy, to play with Emma.

Emma's 1st Halloween

Halloween 2012 - This was a big day for the Eian family.  It was Emma's first Halloween and it was our first Halloween in a house.  We were going to get trick or treaters for the first time!  John and I took this very serious, so we loaded up on tons of candy and decorations.  Plus, we got Emma and adorable outfit and we were set.

The weekend before Halloween Emma visited our old neighbors
to show off her costume.  We all agreed, she was cute!

Emma helping Dad making our house spooky.

Emma's favorite friendly ghost.  Everyday we would have
to go out to see the ghost.

Our first Halloween!

Costume ready!

Adjusting the hat just right.

No one is giving me any candy!!
Okay, no candy, I will settle for organic baby food.

The picture does not show it well, but John did great decorating.
We had many compliments from the kids.

A very successful 1st Halloween!
